Romain Poite to referee Harlequins and Wasps Champions Cup clash

Romain Poite will be the man with the whistle in the all Aviva Premiership Rugby clash between Harlequins and Wasps at the Stoop on Saturday.
The 42-year-old with have Thomas Charabas and Vincent Blasco as his assistants as Wasps bid to make it three wins in four European clashes against Harlequins.
 
Fellow Frenchman Jerome Garces will be in the middle for the huge European Rugby Champions Cup clash between Bath Rugby and Scarlets on Friday.
 
Garces will have Maxime Chalon and Jean-Luc Rebollal as his assistant referees for this mouth-watering contest at The Rec.
 
There’s just one point between Todd Blackadder’s side in first place of Pool 5 and the Welsh outfit who sit behind Toulon in third place.
 
Saturday evening sees defending European Champions Saracens needing a victory over Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium to keep their hopes of making it three titles in a row alive.
 
Experienced Irish referee John Lacey will be overseeing proceedings in Wales, with David Wilkinson and Eddie Hogan O’Connell acting as his assistants.
 
Nigel Owens takes charge of Aviva Premiership Rugby Champions Exeter Chiefs’ home clash against Montpellier, George Clancy will referee Northampton Saints against Clermont and the European action concludes with Leicester Tigers travelling to Castres on Sunday, where Andrew Brace will be the man in the middle.
 
There’s plenty to play for in the European Challenge Cup and an action-packed weekend kicks off with Gloucester Rugby heading to Top 14 side Agen on Friday night.
 
The Cherry and Whites, who got to the final of the competition last season, need a win to keep up with pool leaders Pau – Ireland’s Frank Murphy is the man with the whistle at the Stade Armandie.
 
It’s second against first in Pool 5 where Worcester Warriors host Connacht knowing they must win to keep their hopes of topping the table alive.
